PREWASH CHECK LIST

In order to provide fast and efficient service please follow these checklists before we are to arrive to clean your property. 

Homeowners

  • Please move all furniture or objects from the areas to be washed. This includes patio furniture (unless we are washing it), BBQ grills, pet beds, lawn equipment, and vehicles.
  • Double check that all doors and windows are tightly closed. If you have a leaky door or window seal, please let us know. You should put a old towel across the bottom of the door to prevent any overspray from entering.
  • Restrain pets, for our safety.
  • Unlock gates that we will need access to.
  • Close Fireplace Flu if roof is being washed.
  • Roll up nearby vehicle windows.

  • A clean aircraft is vital to not only appearance but to safety also.
  • Oxidation may be removed in some cases using the higher water pressure. ( Care is taken as to not damage the skin or flight controls with excessive pressure.)
  • Landing Gear & Wheel Wells can be one of the hardest areas on a aircraft to clean and keep clean. This area is also one of the most vulnerable to corrosion. Call me. I got this. (I will lube your landing post wash IAC with manufacturers maintenance manual. As some grease may be washed away from where it is supposed to be.)
  • Dirt accumulates in crevices of the airframe structure and it can result in corrosion. The Wash & Wax spray that is commonly used when dry washing works great for a quick wipe down in between flights, but it does'nt get that grit and grime that's been hiding from you for... "Maybe years!"
  • Flying at low altitudes accumulates bugs along the leading edges. (De-ice boots will be cleaned IAW manufacturers maintenance manual.)
    •      Furthermore, the regular habit of washing your aircraft helps you grow familiar with the little details that make a big difference. An A&P with a trained eye (such as myself) will notice an irregularity such as a small leak, crack, or a defective rivet.

Call me, so we can set a date, and you can fly to your favorite cafe in the area where I can wash your plane while your having lunch. I can also do some routine maintenance for you also, ex. oil changes, R&R wheels and tires, 100hr Inspections.
